Four Clover Ranch:
Four Clover Ranch is a non-profit organization devoted to the rescuing of neglected/abused horses. They buy the horses and then trailer them to this one-hundred-seventy acre ranch. Here, they'll be assigned to one of the staff members.
Once a staff member has been assigned to a horse, it's their job to feed, groom, bathe, and train the horse, along with letting it out to daily pasture. The most important part, and also the most challenging, will be to work with the horse and get it confident around humans. This task isn't easy, keeping in mind that these are rescued horses.
All horses are different, so depending on the horse it may take from months to years until they're a 'normal' horse. But once the horse is finally calm enough around everything, then it is time for the part that Four Clover Ranch is famous for. Now, the horses are trained for shows, competing in the shows with their caretaker. Some horses have even become state champions, along with a medal given to their caretaker as recognition of their hard work.
Caretakers are usually teens, since this is what Four Clover looks for. They say it's a way to keep kids out of trouble, and help horses.
So there you have it, what Flour Clover Ranch is all about. Join as a human and be a caretaker for one or more horses, meet other humans, and join a team of staff. Or, be a horse and be worked with with a human, be in shows, and fight for your ranking while out with your pasture buddies.
Whatever one you choose, your life will be challenging, interesting, and most of all, it will be fun!
Other Activities:
Besides the main part of Four Clover Ranch, there are also many other activities for both the horse and rider to enjoy. These activities include riding any of the many trails, BBQ's, Pasture time (when the horses are in the pasture with their pasture buddies), the game room, and the cattle watches. Cattle watches are where you go out with a team manager and keep the cattle in order, usually sending them to another pasture.
